The Story of my Blog Title

Quilt of Dragonflies- My blog is named that for a reason.I am lucky enough to own a genuine Quilt of Dragonflies, which I am sure brings me good dreams when I sleep beneath it. It was given to me by a friend of my mother's, who handmade the entire thing. Color meets pattern in this fantastic piece of artwork which sits on my bed. Brilliant shades of purple, blue, and green intersperse with tie dye dragonflies. I will not hesitate to call it my inspiration.

Park Memories

A misty morning by a pond
A shady spot of which I'm fond
Wild blueberries beside the trail
Crackling lightening with golfball hail
A shaggy moose rambling 'cross my path
A patch of sunshine with a birdbath
The hidden spring from which I fill
My waterbottle, with not a spill
The voyage of a small black ant
To find crumbs which are very scant
All this I've gotten from a park
A dove, a crow, even a lark
These wonders onto which I hold
Are far more precious than any gold
