corners
lonely and desolate
created just to take up space
the hiding place
for dust
dirt
and unexpected visitors
sitting
with your face to a corner
can seem as bleak
as a cold winter day
but if you try very hard
to stare at the blank wall in front of you
it can turn
into a beautiful picture
colors
may seep through
the cracks in the wall
a picture is painted
and suddenly
you don't feel so alone
