Signed, someone with a chill

Dear weather man up in the sky,

Why?

Shivering, cloaked in cold and
Many sweatshirts. The winds seem to howl around me
They are probably faint zephyrs to everyone else.
My nose is a cherry tomato. My ears most likely
Ruby red. I snuffle and sniffle. Rub my numb fingers together. They are blue.
Today the cold makes me
A rainbow. Multicolored.
My toes curl and uncurl in my sneakers.
Note to self: wear thicker socks. Next time.
Of course I hope there will be no next time.
But it is October, and I live in New England,
So yes.
